Incentive award for marriage between disabled and non- disabled

Incentive

A grant of ₹ 25,000 shall be paid to the partner who is disabled and in case of both spouse with disability, the amount shall be jointly paid in the name of both.

Elligibility

A couple whose family income from all sources does not exceed ₹ 1,50,000/- per anum and at least one of the two has a minimum  40% of  Disability. They should be a resident of Goa for the last 15 years and should apply within three years from the date of marriage. Marriage should be registered marriage and the couple should be living together for a period not less than two years

Documents

Marriage certificate issued by the sub registrar of the registration department of the government of Goa, Disability certificate, A certificate from the concerned block development officer to show that both couple are living together for not less than two years( attached with application form), A declaration to be jointly signed by both the parties that they will not resort to separation except under legal provisions(attached with application form), Resident proof, Income proof

Procedure

Apply to the respective Block Development Officer along with complete application form ad documents. The grant will be sanctioned by the director of social welfare.
