The state of Kerala government is providing marriage assistance to woman with disability. Only parents of the woman with disability or applicant can apply for the scheme. This is Onetime assistance of INR 10,000 and that will be given after the marriage |
Eligibility |
BPL category, Annual Family income including all source should not exceed INR 36,000/, Applicant should be staying with parents, Applicant must be resident of Kerala, If applicant gets divorced after first marriage, even after that she can apply for the assistance for second marriage as well. In that situation, she should give details of the family income including the alimony, Parents have to apply one month before marriage date |
Documents required |
BPL card, Ration card for residence proof, Disability certificate/Identity card, Income certificate from village office/panchayat, Birth certificate( school certificate or affidavit), Within the 30days of marriage, provide a marriage certificate to pancha |
Procedure |
The application forms are to be obtained from District Social Justice Offices and to submit to the same office with required documents. |
