The State Govt. receives 100% Central Assistance from the Govt. of India for the total expenditure under this scheme for SC and OBC Students. For Physically Handicapped Students this is 100% State Sponsored Scheme and director of social welfare is the sanctioning authority. Rate of the scholarship as per the class/course: Group A: Amount is INR 190/- and 425/- per month for day scholar and hostlers respectively. Group A covers students pursuing medical or engineering courses; Group B and C: Amount is INR 190/- and 290/- per month for day scholar and hostlers respectively. Group B & C covers students pursuing PG/ diploma and certificate course in medical/engineering/hotel/ nursing/pharmacy/business etc and ; Group D: Amount is INR 120/- and 230/- per month for day scholar and hostlers respectively. Students studying in second and third year graduation; Group E: Amount is INR 90/- and 150/- per month for day scholar and hostlers respectively. Student studying in class 11th and 12th and first year of college. Additionally, student with vision impairment will get reader allowance of INR 50-100 as per the class. |

Eligibility |
Minimum 40% of disability, These scholarships will be given for the study of all recognized Post-Matriculation and Post-Secondary Courses pursued in Recognized Institutions. A scholarship holder under this scheme will not hold any other Scholarship/Stipend. Students who have already received coaching in any of the Pre-Examination Training Centres with Financial Assistance from the Govt. will not be eligible. Parents/Guardians income from all sources does not exceed INR 1,00,000/- per annum. Students must have scored passing marks in the previous annual examination. |

Procedure |
The students have to apply to District Social Welfare officer (DSWO) through the head of the institute in a proper application form. DSWO will sanction the grants. The annual amount will be credited to the saving bank account of the applicant. |
