The Social Welfare Department provides monetary and other assistance to disabled students from class I to Post Graduate level. There is a separate scholarship for day scholar and hostellers. Rate of the scholarship for day scholars: a. Class 1 to 5 – Rs. 95 Per Month b. Class 6 to 8 – Rs. 115 Per Month c. Class 9 to 10 – Rs. 140 Per Month d. Class 11 to 12 & Technical course-Rs.185 per month e. Graduation – Rs. 330 per mont For Hostellers a. Class 3 to 8 – Rs. 360 Per Month b. Class 9 to 10 – Rs. 435 Per Month c. Class 11 to 12 & Technical course-Rs.635 per month d. Graduation & PG – Rs. 510/per month e. Graduation & PG – Rs. 355 per month additional f. Technical Graduation & PG – Rs. 740 per month Scholarship is payable to the students for the period of 10 months in an academic year (excluding period of vacation), except where the student either joins or leaves the school in the midst of the academic year. Students have to provide the concerned authority with the report card of the class passed as a certificate of their promotion to the next class.

Procedure |
Application form is available with Assistant Director of department of Social Security & Disability of respective District / Headmaster of Government Special Schools. Application form for the class 7th and above is available with Asst. Director, Social Security & Disability of respective district on recommendation of School/ College Principal. Application form for the class 1-6th is also available with Mukhiyas of Panchyat on recommendation of School. |
