Incentive

This is called Viklangata Pension and contributed by State and Central government such as Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension scheme.  The sum amount of the pension is INR 500/- per month. It is administered by the Department of Rural Development in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

 

Eligibility

The age of the disabled shall be above 1 year, hereby means that there is no age bar. Those who are diagnosed with disability at any age , can avail this scheme, Minimum 40%  of disability, The applicant must belongs to Below the Poverty Line (BPL) and Should be resident of the State of Andhra Pradesh

Documents required

Disability certificate, BPL card number (white and red card), Resident proof, Passport size photograph

 

Procedure

Application form MBPY-I may be obtained from the Office of the Block Development Officer or  Executive Officer or Municipality / NAC,  or Gram Panchayat Head quarters at free of cost. At rural level: applicant needs to approach  Mandal development Office/Taluka Office. At urban level: applicant  needs Tahsildar and Mandal Development Office
