State of Tripura is implementing the scholarship for the students with disabilities from 1st class to post graduation. Rate of Scholarship as per the class are: a) Class I to class VIII: INR 70 per month, b) Class IX to Class XII: INR 85 and INR 140 for day scholars and hostellers respectively, c) For graduation: INR 125 and INR 180 per month for day scholars and hostellers respectively, d) For masters and diploma in professional courses: INR 170 and INR 240 for day scholars and hostellers respectively |
Eligibility |
Above 40 % disability, Applicant should have successfully completed the course in the particular year, Resident of the Tripua, Income is not any criteria for availing the scheme but applicant has to submit the family income certificate |

Income certificate of the parent, Disability certificate, Copy of previous class/course mark sheet, Income certificate signed by gazetted officer /MLa |
Procedure |
Application should be made to the authorized officials of the State Department of Social Welfare and Social Education in the prescribed format through the head of the institution where the applicant is admitted as a student /trainee. The payment of scholarship will start from the month in which admission is taken and will payable up to month of examination. |
