This scheme is a combination of the State and the Central government contributions. The grant is INR. 2500 per month. The beneficiaries who attain the age of 60 years shall automatically be transferred to the Old Age Assistance Scheme |
Eligibility |
Age of beneficiary should not be more than 60 years. Family income should not be more than INR 75,000 per year. Beneficiary has to be living in Delhi for at least 5 years preceding the date of submission of application. Disability of the applicant should not be less than 40%. Beneficiary should have a single-operated account in any bank or post office to receivepayment through electronic clearing system. This can be relaxed for minors or intellectually disabled applicants. |

Procedure |
Applicant needs to visit the District Social Welfare Office to get the application form. Filled form shall be submitted at the same place. Form is also available online on the official website of the social welfare department of Delhi. Applicant can get the print copy of the form and follow the aforesaid procedure. |
