The Government of Mizoram provides facility of free bus travel in Mizoram State Transport (MST) for person with complete vision loss and concession is also given to their escort. Validity of the concession card will be for two years. |
Eligibility |
Applicant should be resident of the state. Vision loss in both eyes, Applicant or any family members should not be government employee., Applicant should have disability identity card issued by the social welfare department/district social welfare officer |

Procedure |
Applicant needs to have disability identity card issued by the social welfare department .They can apply to the director of transport or any officer authorized by him on his behalf after careful consideration and on receipt of application in the prescribed format. Application form will be available in the office of the director of transport or any nearest office of station superintendant /assistant station superintendant on formal request. Application form should be first certified by the medical officer and then submitted to the director of transport for issuance of concession card. |
