The state of Mizoram is providing unemployment allowance to people with disabilities. The allowance as per the notification dated 5th Nov 2003 is INR 100/- per month which may be increased by the government time to time. |
Eligibility |
Applicant should be registered with special employment exchange/employment exchange for more than periods of two years, Who could not be placed in any gainful occupation provides., Applicant is between 18 to 35 years of age, Minimum 40% of disability, Resident of Mizoram having photo identity card issued by the Election commission of India. |

Certificate from special employment exchange, Age proof, Disability certificate, Resident proof/voter ID card |
Procedure |
Applicant can apply to the District Social Welfare Officer at concerned district. Department of social welfare officer will get the list of people with disability from the special employment exchange |
