Manipur implements the centrally sponsored Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension scheme. A monthly disability pension of INR 300 is given to the elligible applicants. |
Eligibility |
The eligible person should be in the age group of 18-79 years, Applicant should belongs to the household of to Below Poverty Line, Should have 80 % or more disability/multiple disabilities, Resident of the Manipur |
Documents required |
Disability certificate, Age certificate, BPL certificate/copy of card, Residence proo, Two passport size photograph attested by the Gazetted officer |
Procedure |
The applicant needs to visit District Social welfare Office to apply for the scheme. Prescribed form can be obtained from the same place. The pension amount will be credited to the bank saving account of the applicant. Remittance can be monthly or quarterly as per the availability of the funds. |
