State of Andhra Pradesh is giving grants for marriage between disabled and non –disabled, which is administered by the Department for the Welfare of  Disabled & Senior Citizen. The lump sum money is INR 50,000/- given at once to the married couple where, one partner or both partner is disabled.

 

Eligibility

Incentive award can be given to either of the spouse with disability if a non -disabled marries a person with disability. They should not have availed the incentive award under this scheme earlier. The bridegroom and bride must have completed 21 years and 18 years of age respectively at the time of marriage.

Documents required

Disability certificate, Marriage registration certificate issued by the competent authority of marriage, Three post card size joint photograph of the couple self attested, Residential certificate issued by the tahsildar or ration card Adhaar card

 

Procedure

Application form can be obtained from the Assistant Director, Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizens at district headquarters and need to be submitted at the same place. Tahsildar designated as verification officer and will verify the application ad documents .The couple shall be physically present on the date of the verification officer along with required original certificate and with other details.
