Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha
A Research Institute for the Development & Rehabilitation of Mentally Handicapped

It is the moral responsibility of every parent to bring up the child as worthy citizen of the society. This responsibility of growing up a child is increased many fold when the child is mentally challenged. Mental disability is not a disease but is the condition. And since it is not a disease there is no medicine for it. As long as lack of cure or remedy persists, the only ray of hope is rehabilitation of mentally challenged children.

Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha is purely a charitable, non-profiting and none-aided organization committed to the noble cause of differently able children. Its approach towards this multi dimensional problem is absolutely scientific but with due consideration to emotions and sentiments of mentally challenged, their parents and family members. SSS has established its reputation of having a standard in itself in the management of mentally challenged and voluntarism. The management of SSS shows a commitment to philanthropy through personal giving in cash, kind and time or all three.

SSS is transparent in its affairs right from its inception. Transparency and honesty is the hallmark of SSS and it is because of this factor that the organization runs without government aid and is totally supported by philanthropy. SSS is certified by Credibility Alliance; it is a consortium of voluntary organizations which has come together to enhance good governance in the voluntary sector and to further the sector’s credibility in the eyes of the public.
