Incentive

This Centrally sponsored scheme is implemented in the state. The monthly amount is INR 600/- which is sum of state as well central government contribution.

Eligibility

Those who are availing other disability pension from state or central govt. will not be eligible to avail IGNDPS,  The number of eligible beneficiary to be assisted under IGNDP will be determined as per the field report of all beneficiaries who satisfy the eligibility criteria, The amount of disability pension will be INR 200/per month per beneficiary for the purpose of claiming central assistance. ( it has been increased from INR 200 to 300,but is not being implemented in the state, 2013 ), The applicant should be suffering from severe multiple disabilities as defined in Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995( PWD Act 1995) and the National Trust for the welfare of persons with Autism, cerebral palsy, Mental Retardation and multiple disabilities act, 1999 revised from time to time and any other guidelines issued by the ministry of social justice and empowerment in this regard, The applicant must belong to household below poverty line(BPL) according to the criteria prescribed by the government of India, The age of the disabled shall be between 18-64yrs

Documents required

Application from has to be certified by panchayat, MLA and BDO with their seal, Attested copy of disability certificate, Attested copy of electoral photo identity card, Attested copy of BPL ration card, Attested copy of Sikkim subject certificate of ident

Procedure

Applicant needs to visit to the District Social Welfare office at concerned district to apply for the scheme. The amount will be credited to the post office or public sector bank account of the beneficiary quarterly to half yearly as per the fund.
